Mike Christy serves as the Equipment Manager for the MN Mallards, bringing a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a deep passion for the game. With over 10 years of experience managing equipment at competitive levels, Mike is responsible for maintaining all player gear, managing inventory, and ensuring the team is game-ready at all times.

Known for his dedication behind the scenes, Mike handles everything from sharpening skates and repairing equipment to making sure each player is outfitted with the right gear.

In addition to his equipment manager role, Mike has an extensive coaching background. He began coaching in 2008 and, for the past 10 years, has worked at the high school level as a JV head coach, varsity forward coach, and goalie coach for both JV and varsity teams. He played a key role in launching the MVI Jr. Gold program and has spent the last eight years coaching with the CCM High Performance and Tier 1 teams.

When he’s not at the rink, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Patti, and their English Bulldog, Mabel. He continues to be a strong advocate for the vital role support staff play in a team’s success.
